Got the axle from Central Auto and waiting on a Fidanza flywheel from Speedtech, now all thats left to buy is some bolts. Anyone know where I can get bracket bolts for the axle as well as flywheel bolts? I wanna get the car running before the snow hits!
 
I paid $315 for the flywheel I should start buying part online now but I'm a virgin at that. How is the flywheel is it really light? I believe on slowboyracing.com they posted that it will be hard to drive in parking lots etc. I will let you know if I need them trying to find the axle bolts first thanks.

Hello - one more new DSM owner here in Edmonton. I've owned my Talon since the spring, and am planning some more mods over the winter - would love to start up some monthly meets, only problem ffor me would be my awful oilfield services schedule :( Would make them if I could though.
 
I'm from Sherwood Park, I've got a '92 awd parts car, '95 tsi awd DD (winter beater?) and a '97 gsx project... Now if only I had some spare time to work on them ROFL

Does anyone have a good used 91 5 speed awd transmission? I had one hard launch and the drivers side axle blew out somehow and might have damaged the transmission. No money for rebuild let me know guys thanks.
 
things have changed a bit for me since being on here, LOL well now i dont have the white 92 tsi i have a blue one with a black cf evo2 hood ( ill get some pics on here) plus i also now just picked myself up a 99 eclipse gst rag top wich is going to be my dd and winter driver LOL
 
Hey, I'm in Edmonton and I'm looking for a 97-99 Eclipse GSX. Are there any for sale? I would really want one. If not that car then what?:D
 
The one I was looking at was a 97' Eclipse GSX with 175,000 km for $5,900, and they sold it. :toobad: :cry: LOL, now I have to keep looking. Who knows long long that will be, LOL.
 
I say you should make a trip state side to get one, preferably from the south because there will be less wear on it. The import process isn't very difficult or expensive. I was lucky enough to find one in bone stock condition with complete service records from the day it left the factory. That's the best way to ensure that it wasn't molested by some hack. Good luck finding one, even though I love how rare this car is in Canada, I wouldn't mind seeing a few more on the streets.
