Aftermarket radio in my truck turns off when driving off only

Hi everyone,
Recently got a used 2010 chevy silverado 1500 as a company vehicle. I noticed immediately that the radio(aftermarket) turns off when you start to drive off. It only works when you are engine off in accessory mode or sitting idle in park/neutral. I pulled out the radio and saw that it was manually wired in.. So I did a little research on the vehicle wiring harness and wiring harness adapters to ''kind of'' understand what the colored wires mean. I then tested the wires in all positions from engine off, to key in accessory position and engine on in idle etc.. Everything tested 12v. Battery test was good, Tested alternator by taking off the positive cable and it was good from what I was told. Only time the radio works while driving is when I rig the constant 12v wire to where I have to manually turn the radio on and off for when I want to use it. So I tested the accessory/ignition wire as I proceeded to drive off and the voltage dropped sporadically and would not stay at a stable voltage. Does this mean there is a short on that wire somewhere? or possibly a part that needs to be changed out?

Another bot post, don't even reply.
huh? How is that a bot post LOL. Are you a bot?

I take it you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand the difference between a bot and someone who isn't..

Tested ignition/accessory wire to my radio and it is stable 12v when I am parked. Then I clipped on the ignition/accessory wire and proceeded to drive off and the voltage almost immediately dropped sporadically and wouldn't stay stable. My radio only turns off when I drive off, and will only stay on when I am parked idling or engine off in accessory mode position. If I rig the constant 12v power wire to where my radio has to be manually turned on or off when I want to use it, the radio will work while I am driving. Any opinions what could cause the ignition/accessory radio wire to be unstable only when driving? can't find anyone on the internet posting about this issue.

...and no, this isn't a bot account.....

You joined a DSM forum today to ask an electrical question about your Chevy truck? If you're not a bot, you're definitely as smart as one.
Electrical Tech
Wiring, turbo timers, electronic boost controllers, gauges, fuses, wiring harnesses, wire tucks, car audio, and all other electrical component discussions.

Obviously you have a very low IQ and don't realize this is the 'Electrical Tech' forum with description of topics under it listed. Education failed you obviously. Please don't type in my thread when you don't have at least a double digit IQ

There's probably an electrical tech section on a home improvement forum as well, home slice. This is a DSM forum. Why did you not ask on the forum dedicated to your platform? I'm certain it exists and probably sees 10x more traffic than this one. It's like joining a Apple forum to ask a Microsoft question rather than going to the Microsoft forum. It's bizarre.

And if you're suggesting CD9A has a low IQ compared to you being lost on the internet asking about voltage to a simple aftermarket 12v radio, welp, I got some bad news for you.

Easy guys! is it possible that the previous owner installed something to shut the radio down when the truck is in motion for some reason? put a volt meter on the radio power wire and see what it reads when you are in motion, if the radio see's a low voltage situation it will shut down, maybe the alternator is not charging above a low rpm?
