Well I Installed a new momo steering wheel last week unhooked the battery bla bla after the install damn srs light was on, so i did some research on air bad dummys or air bag simulators I didnt want to remove the bulb in tach cause the code will still be in air bag system. And was worried about inspection, do to the fault coming up on the scanner soo i found the perfect fix and cheap Kent-Moore Air Bag Dummy Load Tool EL-46867: eBay Motors (item 180512415171 end time Aug-21-10 15:32:04 PDT)

i ordered it hoping it would fit perfect and fair enough worked like a charm plugged right into factory harness plug on driver side, BUT then u still have that bulky clock spring to deal with. So what i did was cut the small air bag harness off the clock spring side and connect to the main air bag connection this way you don't damage your factory harness. connect the air bag dummy stick it away in steering column and have a buddy with a snap on scanner erase your srs light and no more srs light for under 20 bucks.

Another good reason to perform this mod if you have an aftermarket steering wheel is to keep your air bag system operational, since there will be no faults or srs light on the srs air bag system should still be able to deploy your pass side air bag in theory, in the event of an accident. I don't know bout You guys but id feel pretty bad if your buddy in your pass side seat was to die in the accident due to the fact His air bag did not deploy, they really don't have a steering wheel to hold on to like the driver does so chances of them Surviving a big crash are slim as it is.
