act 2600 engagment rough?

Hey ive got a 1992 talon tsi awd ijust put a act 2600 clutch and pressure plate in it with a fidanza lightened flywheel. its all 2gethere but when i hit the clutch its stiff all the way to the floor but doesnt engage until its completly to the floor and then completly un-engages about 1-inch from the floor? how do i adjust the clutch or does it sound like sumthing is wrong?
