Was going to build a unmodified 95 Eagle Talon, automatic awd. Have most of the parts to complete. Put it on jackstands after a year of sitting in the driveway and it's pretty bad underneath. I did a quick check before buying but wasn't too concerned since the car is at 2x

profit at this point. I have a 97 gst parts car I could cut up I guess.
2g autos are getting rare I guess is the only reason I ask for input.

I doubt it'll fold in half under boost and never a restoration, just a fun street car.

That thing is not safe, the area that the control arm points bolt to are gone, use the parts to convert your Gst to a Gsx if you want a Gsx.

I had same issue you do, had all parts ready then found out my car had really bad rust/rot, but had to make a choice and scrap it. Ended up buying a near rust free shell.

If you have a gst best bet is to do as advised in comment above and convert it to gsx.

I wouldn’t suggest taking the risk, especially considering it being pretty severe around important points on the frame

Don't do it. To add to the above advise, convert that GST to an AWD TALON. Eclipses are Ghey.

I can only imagine how many bearings and seals would need to be replaced even if the thing didn't fall apart when you take the first hard corner.

What's funny is the strut towers have no rust . I'll just keep my eyes open for a clean project.
