Im glad it arrived ok and you are very happy with it. Thank you for supporting me and my items. Its very much appreciated and always keeps me going to keep reinventing and producing new things.

More parts from Bobby. Stainless fuel filler neck arrived and it's very nice.

I was behind on following this thread and I was seriously missing out. This is going to be such a clean build! Keep up the great work.
Thanks Dericsh. I'm still in the middle of buying and sourcing parts. The weather is getting warmer so time permitting I'm hoping to dig in and get some real work done on this thing real soon.

More parts, more parts and more parts.

Bought a connecting rod balancing jig. Unfortunately the included mandrels are too large for the 4g63 rods so I ordered a 45mm sized aluminum disc from McMaster. I'll have to drill a 16mm center hole so it can be used in the fixture. In the mean time I removed the rod bolts from the Manley's, cleaned the assembly lube, weighed the rods and rod bolts separately so I can pair them up respectively once I start the balancing process.

Ordered the PPG and Quaife front differential from @twicks69. I was waiting for Raven fab to release their 7- bolt water pipe but it's been taking forever so I ordered their 6-bolt pipe and their thermostat housing. Will be running 16an to the radiator. Also thanks to @Canadian_CD9A for putting ideas in my head and make me spend more money, I received my exhaust housing from ATP. Waiting on @MorrisonFab to start on my manifold and hot parts. Once done they will be receiving the ATP treatment as well.

This is a high quality build. Everything is brand new 😍
Appreciate it. I try to save money where I can and buy used but unfortunately it seems everyone tends to hang on to the good stuff and I'm forced to buy new. Then there's the goal of what I want the finished project to be so high quality parts are kind of a necessity. It's only money though, right? 😄

So after losing my entire drivetrain in the TMZ fire I had to start pretty much from scratch. Out of the two transmissions I picked up, I lost my ass on one of them. I opened them up to check on the shape of the center differentials and unfortunately one of them is cooked.

Fortunately the second one looks ok. I didn't dig into them further as I don't know what the hell I'm doing so I'll let Tim take a look at them when I drop em off next week.

I also got some more parts from Bobby. 🙂 Front upper control arms, bump steer kits and rear shock pins.

Since I sold my OG TE37 due to changing my mind and no longer wanting to cut and widen the fenders because of the aggressive offset of the originals, I placed an order for some 18x9 +35 replacements. After a year and a half wait they're finally here.

I must admit, they are incredible, but wish Rays still used the original finish.

I'll be honest, I did not know they offered that size. Interested how they fit.
Indeed. Not a widely advertised spec. I had to go on their Japanese site to confirm. Model #WVDG2W35EA. I believe the fitment will be fine seeing people running this exact size with other wheels. I am planning on pairing them up with some 255s and I'll do whatever it takes to make them fit.

A quick update. Tim is working on my dogbox. I also pre-ordered the NEAT 1-4 synchro gearset and might use that instead. Hopefully they'll reach their 30 pre-orders and actually make it. Also bought a bunch of stuff during the black Friday sales. Matt @MorrisonFab is working on the hot parts for the HX40 and sent me some pics. Work of art.

I wonder if neat still sell the spider gears. I want to go ahead and plan as if I have only a 2-spider in my trans, and don't wanna risk grenading it. Trans is coming out anyway, so I might as well check.

Progress is incredible here. Drool worthy for sure. That callies crank though!

Thank you sir. According to Neat's website you can still order the spider gears.
