Honestly, I can't wait to start tearing into it. The main reason I've decided to go with the 4g63 swap is because I just so happen to have a 4g63 and a transmission laying around. And the biggest push has been the fact that I just so happened to destroy my current transmission (most likely input shaft), so I figured it's now or never. Its always interesting seeing more ppl doing this swap
Fun will be had soon,

I'm not 100% sure but it should be AFAIK. You could always manual swap your car too, if you're into that.Looking to do this to my 98 Spyder automatic. Is the list pretty much the same? What things would vary from the manual? Fairly new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
You might be able to get parts for those from Ricky (@dacowgod) at rixracing or Stevie Miller at Miller import Parts.Yeah I was planning on doing that at some point as well.
Thanks man! I've been researching everything I can but all the posts I was looking at were super old until I actually joined. Nice to have some info that isn't 10 years old. I'll look into those. You might be able to get parts for those from Ricky (@dacowgod) at rixracing or Stevie Miller at Miller import Parts.
You can find Ricky here for sure. I don't know what Miller's handle is here, but on fb messenger he's under miller import partsThanks man! My dude, I read your post sometime back. You're one of the reasons I went this route. I had a grand ol' time swapping the harnesses over. I'm also planning on talking with Ricky about getting a tune for sure. I love your thread btw. I've been keeping tabs on it since around the time you started your swap.Old posts? Apparently you haven't seen my build thread...
It's a fun swap, wiring was the hardest part on my end and even that was fairly straightforward. I know a lot of people have already mentioned Ricky, so I won't tag him too.. but he's a great asset to the community.. Especially if you need some remote tuning knocked out once the swap is complete.
Oof. Thanks for the heads up. I figured that was part of the under dash harness .One side note, if you're swapping harnesses make sure you add the power wire for the convertible top into the body harness coming from the fuse box. I missed that and had to run a fresh wire outside of the harness after the fact.
