I picked up a 1995 Talon TSI AWD as my second DSM.
I bought the car non-running and the previous owner claimed the hg was blown, He had the car somewhat torn apart so i had no way of trying to turn the car over to listen to what it sounds like.
I got the car home and pulled the head off and the hg was in terrible shape, i checked the head out and everything seemed to be alright
The car is pretty much all stock minus a ebay FMIC and a ebay 20g.
I have no intentions of running these on this car.
My first goal is to get the car running and to perform all maintence.
Im currently in the process of finding bolts to fit things that the guy had removed and did not give to me.(thermostat housing bolts, compressor housing to ex mani) If the car runs and everything is in good shape then all the fun will start. I eventually want to turn this car into an all drag setup, but for now it is my DD besides my zx6r which doesnt do tell well in the snow haha.

Take note of the REDICULOUS intercooler piping route LOL:banghead:

Well got the car running solid tonight. About two weeks ago was its first start and it was only running on two cylinders. I couldnt figure it out for a while but eventually noticed the plug wires going into the coil pack were not down far enough to make contact.:ohdamn: but at least it was an easy fix.

Took it for its first drive and the transmission seems solid:hellyeah:.

Now here comes the fun part. I plan on building outside of the car a 4g64 block with a 63 crank. Revvin to the moon baby.

Im going to do all of my supporting mods to the car and its block currently in it, untill the time comes for the built block. Should be a nice and steady project and i cant wait.
