95-99 2g GS-T Axle spline count?

I tried searching but couldn't find a confirmed answer.

I just would like to know what's the spline count for a 95-99 2G GS-T passenger side axle

My car is a 97 GS-T, 5spd MT, W/O ABS.

I keep hearing 25 or 27 spline...i'm just not sure...any help is much appreciated.

IIRC All 2G GST had 27 Spline inner (Transmission Side) and 25 Spline outer (Spindle Side) on axles.

Manual Transmission ONLY!! Automatics are different and will NOT FIT!!

1995-1998 Eagle Talon TSi

Overall Length: 38" (Passenger Side)
Inner Spline: 27 / Outer Spline: 25

Overall Length: 24 7/8" (Driver Side)
Inner Spline: 27 / Outer Spline 25


***Note 2G NON-TURBO Axles have the same spline count on the outers (25 spline) but are also 25 spline on the inners.***

25 outer is correct. Just counted on the wheel bearing, inside i dont know as i dont have a shaft to check

You've got your sides mixed up -- the longer axle is the driver side, the shorter the passenger.

Cross-referencing some part numbers and looking at the specs, according to NAPA:

For the automatic:

Passenger Side Interchange Part # NMD 958297
Overall Length 24-3/4"
27 inner / 25 outer spline count

Driver Side Interchange Part # NMD 958293
Overall Length 38"
27 inner / 25 outer spline count​

For the manual:

Passenger Side Interchange Part # NMD 958281
Overall Length 25-1/2"
27 inner / 25 outer spline count​
