1G 92 ecu in 90

So i put my 92 ecu in my 90, and the tach works? I swapped the pins and went to start it and it worked. I was planning to do the transistor swap and etc, but is there a reason to if the tach works?

If you're still using the 1990 tachometer, coil pack, and still have the nose filter in place, there's no reason it wouldn't work.

The tach signal isn't coming from the ECU. See here for reference.
