90 laser FWD

[Farmcar]

This is my first DSM, purchased from a fellow dsmtuners member. Car had been sitting awile and had front end damage from hitting a deer. Over the last year I've been slowly picking away at it, doing routine repairs and a few small upgrades. Really just trying to have fun with the car for now and keep it streetable

Starting repairs

new hood

cylinder 1 was dead so I had to tear down head, to replace some valves

[DOUBLEPOST=1410846670][/DOUBLEPOST]Decided to get 20g wheel and compressor housing, then I machined the bearing housing

then I decided to get a FMIC

Made a bung for temp sensor

Decided to build ram air for at the drag strip

Then I figured I should build exhaust for at the track

Been a while since I updated this, have made a few changes over the last year. Car is track only car now so made it easier to change some things. Only made it to the track twice this year but have ran a PB of 11.57 @125mph, have had a few 129mph passes but at 11.69 and 11.86

Have been making few more changes to the car to make room for future projects. Still have to finish up inside doors and installing plexi glass windows. Also lots of clean up and finish work but it's getting there. Hope to hit the track soon and break my pb

Any build updates?

Been busy with 2 daughters and buying new home, car is just about done and should be back at the track soon. Has been 2 years now since last pass on car which was 11.34 @ 130mph

Since that pass car has got roll cage, bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump, and some more weight removed. Hoping to get in the 10s

Not to many fwd guys around, especially stick cars these days drag racing. Either is auto

Track day is set to be October 4th. Really excited to get the car back out and see how it goes. I’ve had this thing stripped down to nothing and made lots of changes since last time I made a pass.

Also got my rear window swapped for plexiglass one.

Turbo is now a 60-1 compressor wheel with tdo6h turbine wheel. Currently in stock turbine housing but I also recently got a t3 10cm housing to try out later

Car is still alive and well. Seems to only come out in October now, going back to track tomorrow to try and get it dial in.
