I just wanted to update on whats going on with the 1g.
I feel like it's time to make some more jam!!!.
I'm slowly buying supporting mods to run this..

And a side exit. Which I have no idea who made it, but it looks to have a bull welded on

So far I've ordered a "hellcat" 525lph fuel pump and will be upgrading my Injectors eventually. Possibly ID 1600 but im not sure if that'll be enough to max out the turbo.
I don't want to spend that money yet because *drum roll*
I bought a 95 awd talon to daily, that I've of course been spending money on as well. I need to stop before I go broke 😅

Update 🤘🏼

I finished the turbo installation yesterday. As well as the Bulfab rear mustache bar, and 3 piece cross member.

The car is now running a turbo lab HX (super) 40 with their t3 .82 hotside and vband exit.
I had to do some grinding on the lower motor mount, and trimmed my oem fan quite a bit to be able to fit the set up.
I wanted to throw on my 3 core radiator, but I'm going to hold up on that, since I'm not ready to give up the OEM fan just yet.

The next part is installing the Walbro 525lph fuel pump. I'm also throwing around the idea of installing the Manual rack I have, to clean up the bay, since I already ordered the Jay Racing alternator relocation kit. 🤔

At the time I had my 340lph installed, and the car was running fine.
I dropped in the 525lph, used its own pigtail and wired power and ground exactly the same and now the car won't start I have to figure out why 🤔

After I readjusted the rubber sleeve, and cutting the bottom metal lip on the hanger, the pump was no longer blowing fuses.

With as long as it took me cleaning up the whole rear and reqiting, my battery got low, and when I tired cranking it, it went down to 9v. Lmao

I got the car jumped this morning and everything works properly 🤘🏼

Man, super nice cars. The red one is going to be loud as shit but fast as shit. Hopefully you don't get tired of that side exit. I put mine up for sale after driving about 300 yards with it. Not exaggerating.

Lmao that's pretty drastic. I wonder why you didn't just sell the side exit and get a full exhaust instead?
I'm going to do 2 exhaust set ups. A side and a full for the street.
 
Yeah, I sold the side-exit, not the car.
LOL. My bad, I literally just woke up and miss understod ROFL but after some light forum reading I'm wide awake 🤣
Either way, I'm doing 2 set ups, and I'm not daily driving it so it'll be fine if it makes noise.
