6th Annual GMU DSM Meet
Sponsored by Team Trinity
March 15th 2008 @ 11:00am – 4:00pm
Parking Lot J, GMU Fairfax Campus

First off, We at Team Trinity want to say thanks to everyone who came out last year to help us support our local DSM community. All of us hope you got to play catch-up with some old friends, and even took the opportunity to make some new ones; we know we did!!! This year we're all working "overtime" with our vision of making this the best GMU meet to date, but we need your help! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell anyone in the DSM community you can!!!

We have confirmations that most of your local DSM racing shops will be coming down to showcasing their hot, new products made specifically for the upcoming race season. Plus, they've agreed to donate a lot of hot prizes for our annual raffle; come' on people.......free stuff!!! All you got to do is buy your raffle tickets at $2 apiece, or get 3 for $5 and save a buck. Speaking of a buck, we'll have plenty of snacks and beverages available for purchase, so just bring your cash. Also, take a minute to gather up your spare parts so you can join in on the action of our annual swap meet.

For those of you who've done this before, you know its well worth the drive. DSM's from all over Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina and New York have made it to this meet in the past, and your sure to see them all again.

Here's the map and address of the GMU Fairfax Campus. Lot K is located across from the Mason Pond and close to the Patriot Center. Go to Welcome to George Mason University for more location details.

If you miss this event, don't worry. You'll have all season long to regret about how much of a baby you were for not attending.

Can't wait to see you there!

Rain date is scheduled for March 22nd, but please, check this thread often for changes due to inclement weather and other unforeseeable events.

Boost Boyz & Girlz Racing will be there with the new 92 Laser AWD. This will be her debut with the Boost Boyz & Girlz Racing team. The following weekend she will be making her first road trip for her first NOPI appearance at the NOPI / NHRA race at Atlanta Dragway.

She will be driven by Sandra who drove the Talon last year.

i was disappointed last year at the lack of attention to the dsm community it was more focused on all the others cars and the dsm's were just there. alot of dsm guys i know dont go to this anymore because of that reason a few years ago it was a dsm focused meet and revolved around the dsm community support but now its just a regular car meet

^ thats cause i was overseas and not there. we try not to post but in dsm forums but then everyone wants to bring friends which doesnt fall on us.

Problem with last year was the event got whored out to so many non dsm boards and here in NoVA when someone one says carshow or event everyone comes running. This year we are focusing more on the DSMs and all nonDSM cars, Nissan, VW, BMW whatever will be parking else where. We want all the DSMs back out, there are lots of people that enjoyed the meet and seeing all the different things that can be done to the cars. I'd love to see all the Colt guys come out again...I think 2 years ago there were about 7 to 10 4g63 colts there. We are hoping this year will be better. The more that show up the better it will be. We also are asking a lot more local shops that deal with DSMs to come as well. Hope to see everyone there.

im down, havent been there since the year the guy blew out his tires and bent his rims in a 3si because he couldnt see a curb.
