contintment is the hardest thing in the world to find, not happiness, i agree with you full heartedly and im only 32 LOL
You're right about that - and in another dozen years you'll still be dealing with that, plus the added anxiety about where you are with retirement plans and tuition for your kids (well, you might be dealing with tuition earlier than us). Gratitude and volunteering will help, but it's still a challenge.

yeah im hoping if i can grasp contiment now in life itll follow me throughout the rest of life. we are actually expecting our first kid at the end of this year so thats exciting and as for college, they can pay for it LOL best thing my parents did was have me pay for my own college. it taught me financial responsibility/priotites and helped grow my credit score at a very young age and when i paid the last payment last year it was the most wonderful feeling LOL

Hey guys it’s time for another lame Saturday night update! The motors been in for over a month now, parts are still rolling in, and I’ve been slowly but surely making progress on this cageless street beast. One thing I didn’t mention initially after the engine install was a VERY embarrassing screw up LOL, the night we installed the engine I noticed my water pump pulley was touching the driver side strut tower, but I thought it was because the the driver side/trans mount weren’t on yet, I was wrong. My dumb@$$ had the water pump/power steering pulleys backwards:banghead:.

So I had to grab the hoist again and shimmy up the motor a hair to get the pulley away from the frame so I could get a wrench on the pulleys and fix my bonehead mistake LOL.

Got it. Next I think it was my 90 amp alternator I installed.

Then shortly after I received this GEM in the mail.

Sweet Jesus.

My STM Tuned V band manifold. The only reason I purchased this over a Morrison was because of a 4 week build time as opposed to a 20 week. I am however running Morrison Fab hot parts kit I purchased from a fellow dsm’er down in Colorado.

The only slight possible issue is this o2 housing was ran on a Xona 9569s, and I’m mating it to a precision .82ar V band housing, but it fits pretty decent, I’m gonna run it until Morrison is more caught and will sell me a PTE specific o2.

So anyways today I decided to install my 2150’s/plug’n’play adapters.

I’ve found it’s also easier to install the injector O rings into the head before you stab the injector.

I then grabbed my Amazon AN wrenches and buttoned her up:thumb:

If you can see from the pics I was able to get the adaptor pig tails plugged in fairly easily into the factory harness running them between the runners:hellyeah:, and lastly I also got my driveshaft/transfer case installed along with the half shaft and axles!

I’ll be adjusting my linkage cables, I can’t shift into 1st or 2nd, so I’m thinking I need more side to side play in the cables to get her in. I also need to modify my brake booster line to reach the fittings on the manifold, re connect electric fittings etc. I think I might also add all my fluids this weekend excluding engine which I won’t add until the day I turn her over which hopefully will be next month :hellyeah: :rocks: :D

I’ve got power!!! Sorry guys I’ve been really bad and lazy with my updates, the last 2 weekends I’ve been working on the battery re-locate. Last Wednesday I got my new battery, the Odyssey PC1200. I wanted a battery that had atleast as much cold cranking amps or more as my good ole O Reilly super start LOL.

I’d say it works pretty good with the Moroso Battery Box.:D

So yesterday my brother-in-law swung by to help me finish up the install, the prior weekend we got the 2 gauge wire ran,

So yesterday my goal was to simply get power to the car. I went with a 100amp ANL in-line fuse and found out I’d have to pull the damn bumper and modify the crash beam to set the kill switch where I wanted it LOL.

I like this location, next up I’ll have to replace the 6 or so rusted screws that broke on the bottom of the bumper when I removed them LOL, other than that once this rear bumper is done, I just need to wire up the pro sport oil pressure gauge, the 1 that’s NOT lit up in the first pic LOL, and install my ETS RACE intercooler that I’m STILL waiting on after 3 months..

Hey guys Happy Sunday! Yesterday I got my intercooler mocked up and hung finally LOL
AAF3EBE1-95A5-4ACC-9E0D-B9BEDC4277CC.jpeg
The floor jack came in handy for sure, next I mocked up the straps to hang from the frame, got the blow torch out, heated them up in the vice and bent them to fit.

I’m still waiting on the weld on TIAL flange and IAT bung and I’ll get everything dropped off hopefully later this week! Today I’ll work on getting my oil catch can mounted and the pro sport oil pressure gauge wired in and that’s about it!:hellyeah::rocks::thumb:

Oil Pressure sensors done! Just got power to this thing today, this is the FIRST gauge I’ve ever wired on my own LOL, my brother-in-law has always helped me on everything else electrical, including the battery, but on this gauge the additional length to the harness was soldered by yours truly, and thanks to Kyle and the “boosted boy’s” video I followed suit on getting power from the ‘ole cigarette lighter LOL.

Man it felt good to flip the kill switch, turn the key and watch that gauge light up! I’d like to thank everyone for following and especially @Vegas Smith for being awesome, I couldn’t have done it without this forum :hellyeah:

So my boss happens to be an awesome welder and offered to weld up my cold piping, which is the LAST piece of the puzzle.

Made some great progress today but unfortunately my dumbass ordered a SS npt bung LOL, aand for whatever reason the STM tuned TIAL weld on flange would NOT take, so I’ve since ordered a TIAL flange from JEGS, along with an aluminum bung, so hopefully next weekend will be the first start!
