Re F5M31-2 Trans. I have removed the input shaft nut, 5th Fork and synchro sleeve. I cannot remove 5th gear synchro hub. Does the syncro hub require a puller to get it off the input shaft?

I am in the same boat as you. From the vFaq they say you need a puller, from searching some people say they have been able to wiggle them off. I havent been about to though, going to go rent a gear puller from Advanced Auto tomorrow.

[Edit]
Crap I am a year late LOL. Thats what I get for posting. Well if you still are having problems pitmac, go get a gear puller haha! Sorry mods.
