Boost leak could have something to do with it and it never hurts to do one anyways. vacuum lines that are un hooked can send wrong signals to the computer which wouls make it run weird

Do a boost leak test. You can't own a turbo DSM and not do those tests. Seems like more than one thing is going on here. ECU has no code for boost leak, but you can find out if that's an issue by testing. Misfires may be a separate issue.

After you replaced the TPS, did it throw the same code? Know anyone else with a 1g that you could test their TPS? Might help to know if you can eliminate the TPS as the culprit.
