I've been doing a battery relocation. Just wondering how to hook up this relay I got.

Here's the diagram and to show you where the relay goes.

Here's the relay. Now on to my question: What wires go to where on this relay to hook it up according to the diagram?

Flash, I have the exact answer to your question.

87A: Don't use
87: To component
86: To switch that turns the relay on. This is also connected by the wire that would be going directly to the component if there was no relay.
85: To ground
30: To constant battery power, wire to power

Power enters terminal 86 and then grounds to 85. That turns the relay on! This then allows power to go from 30 to 87. Which puts power to the component.

I'm unsure about how to wire it up from the ignition to the Painless shut down relay remote wire. I'm thinking the power from the ignition source will be the power that turns the relay on (86). And run terminal 30 and 87 inline with the remote wire?
