3bolt rear

I have been thinking of having the 3bolt axles cryo treated to with stand a little more aggressive launches w/o having to spend the money for a 4bolt rear end at this present time.

Have anyone done this with there 3 bolt axles and is it worth doing?

Gees by the time you finished paying for the cryo you could have a 4 bolt already...

Exactly what i was just thinking. Just save up for the inital 4bolt.

It won't give you as much more strength as another bolt will. If it will provide any strength increase at all. I'm not a fan of cryo for anything this side of NASA. That's just me.

Depending on what junk yards you venture into or have access too you might be able to get a good deal on one. One guy I know took a 4-bolt rear for 70 with cups and axles. Its a long shot but its a shot.
