3000Gt Projectors for a 2g retro?

So I was in the junkyard today just looking at stuff and find an avenger with 3000gt headlights with the stock projectors. I was looking at them and was wonder if they could be used in a 2g retrofit? They looked easy to remove and the cut off looked good looking through them.

I've got a question, how do you know that they are 3000gt projectors? Oh and how much was the junkyard asking for the set?

I wouldn't recommend it. the qualities of today's projectors makes the 3000 gt look obsolete.

Yea just go to theretrofitsource.com and get some fx-r, best bang for your buck. Plus I think 3000gt projectors would be halogen ones wouldn't they? Not hid projectors.

I don't know if the 3000GT had HID from the factory or not, if they didn't then the projectors won't perform as well as an OEM HID Projector would.

3kgt has no HID Option from the factory.

Find a HID projector. Even though the 3000GT had projectors they were designed for halogens. HID and halogen bulbs emit light differently from each other.
