I said I'd make a write-up so.... Here ya go
So you want 3" exhaust power/sound/spool up!?!?!?! But whats that? You don't want a loud drone noise on the highway, drilling into your brain and ruining the speaker GAIN!!?? Well folks you now have a choice!!!
tools
-welder
-goggles
-welder goggles
-long shirt
-long pants
-a jack
-jack stands
-know how to take stock/existing exhaust off
-know how to weld
-know how to pay someone to weld
-a car
-ears that are tired of bleeding
-blood you are willing to loose
Step 1: Take off your big muffler that flows amazingly...loud
Step 2: CUT THAT CRAP OFF
Step3: Get stock muffler and hopefully some stock piping
Step 4: Weld it together at several pie cuts angling toward the location of the cutout
Step 5: weld the 3" cutout back on the 3" catback you cut from, and reattach
Step 6: marvel at the simplicity of an OEM manufactured part fitting into place perfectly... like it was..... meant... to ....be .... THERE!!!!??!
Step 7: Take a ride go WOT with the cutout closed...Pretty slow hu ... Now open the cutout.... Open window if nausea ensues.
The cutout is fairly unknown to the import scene. It seems everything I see it on is trucks or modern muscle... Well START ORDERING!
Raceland Stainless Exhaust Electric Cutout Bypass with Remote 3"
Pros
-faster
-sounds amazing open
-quiet as hell through very restrictive stock muffler
-with closed, prevents any boost creep at all so set boost as low as you want!
-open=FAST SPOOL!
Cons
-closed=slow spool
-work
-lazy
-uhhhhh
-physical labor
-thinking
-time
-Food?
