Hello Everyone,
Ive been trying to do some digging on my Galant VR4 Evo trans. It has 3.909 Final drive gears in it. How well do these work for daily/weekend driving? I know the Evo 1-3 guys go from a 3.909 to a 3.545 to get more top speed from what Ive read. I currently have a TRE stage 3 w/ welded center(3.545) in my VR4. I'm tired of the welded center and have a 4 spider for it. Ive come to a point to where I am collecting parts for the Ludachris Resurrection rebuild and I figured the TRE would be better suited for it. I would take the Galant Evo trans and put it in my VR4 just need advice to keep the 3.909 gear or go to a 3.545 gear. Its going to stay with the 16g since its a street car and some autocross. And Advice would be helpful. Open to ideas and if anyone has any better info on the Galant Evo trans it would be much appreciated!
