2nd gear problem

well today i think my tranny took a dump

It was out of nowhere, i shift to 2nd gear and as soon as i give it a little gas, it sounds like a playing card in the spokes of a bike wheel, just sounds like something broke

Only in 2nd gear though, all other gears are just fine

WTF is this? Damn, i knew i was gonna need a rebuild, but not right now..81000 miles on the tranny though, not too shabby i guess


What could have broken though? The gear itself? The car will drive in 2nd, just makes a horrible tick tick sound

send it to me, i will rebuild it.

probly a shifter fork. sounds like what that is but usually when you get them in gear they stop making noise, and they shoot out unless you jam them in real hard.
