2G turbo parts ina 2G NT?

auto salvage yard `round here has parts of a 4G63T 2nd gen eclips eengine, is it possible to use the pistons or rods on my 2G NT? I plan on going turbo and figured if I can use them I could upgrade further.

And to all those people saying sell my NT 2G and buy a turbo car I answer you with this: cant, centimental value! that and Ive done alot of other crap to it that I dont want to have to do to another car =)

what about injectors or fuel rail or throttle body... nothing?

Nothing. It's a totally different engine.

yep, what he said is true, nothing from the 4G63 will work on our engines. We have chrysler engines and they have mitsubishi engines, completely different powerplants.

Im aware of the engine diffence 420A vs 4G63 but you never know unless you ask. I mean people use Supra Fuel pumps and Starion intercoolers

hey 1TuffRS, yes the turbo motor says mitsu on it, but it is made by DSM (crysler motor corp and mitsu together), the block is mitsu and the heads are chrysler hemi. Look at the sticky 1gnt turbo kit post on the top for more specs on the 4G63 motor.


Malenko , I feel ya there, I am keeping my nt for the mermories, that is why I started the 1gNT turbo kit thread.

things that arent car specific will might work, like intercoolers, fuel pumps, radiators stuff like that might work. but engine stuff will not work across the two engines.
