Hello, so my car (1997 eclipse 7bolt) is tuned with DSMlink and has a wideband 02 sensor from where I can view the AFR. Pretty much since I’ve gotten the car it’s always been quite inconsistent with the AFR. (Yes it is tuned as has been many times since I’ve bought it) For example, it’ll start up fine, around 14.7 and from there sometimes it’ll get very rich (low 13s) or sometimes very VERY lean (high 16s, sometimes even in the 17s or 18s). Same when I’m driving, cruising the AFR is sometimes between 15-15.5 and other times it’s in the high 16s and low 17s. Though under boost it does richen up nicely as it should.

Any clue what’s causing this? I have a new MAF, Both new coil packs, new spark plugs, to name a few.
Any help is very appreciated!

Gentlemen,

What do you consider adjusting MAFComp to be?
That’s what I was thinking because It makes no sense that they aren’t adjustable when there are literally settings to do it, well in more news everyone… I got a used MAF from performance part out and it worked great these last few days, except about 15 minutes ago I was like 7k deep in a pull and the car decided it didn’t wanna run anymore. The car would start but not stay on even when giving throttle so I unplugged the MAF on the side of the road and the car drove (not very well obviously) so, anyway, this is now my 3rd MAF sensor in a month and I’m starting to think my problems lie a little deeper than the sensors themselves. Any where I should start yall?
