2g gsx control module id

Can someone tell me what control modules are behind the radio / climate control area on a 2g gsx? I've had this car apart for a very long time with the harnesses and modules removed and I'm in the process of reassembly and I'm having a hard time remembering a few things. First off, I have a connector left over that looks just like the larger connector that goes into the back of the climate control panel that appears to be located behind the radio. It is an 8 pin connector with 4 on the bottom row and 4 on the top row, ( 2 heavier guage red w black stripe wires )however I already have a connector connected to the climate control panel so this is for something different. Also, I have a control module with nothing plugged into it yet also behind the radio on the passenger side above the relay bolted to the verticle metal bracket. The module has a part number but no description or name that would hint what it is. I have the factory service manual on cs, but it's a pita to find stuff on there.
