I was thinking about doing this in the future. Swapping the GSX brakes to my GST. I was wondering if anyone has done this? How hard was this and how much did you get the brake system for?

Its not hard at all all you need is the calipers and rotors and your set..bolts right up with no problem..oh yeah brake pads to..but its a bolt on process..I might get Bears for my car..if your interested in my calipers and stuff...but not sure if I will have the extra funds..but just letting you know

hell yeah, let me know:thumb:

I will take that off your hands

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are two kinds of gsx (or is it gst) brakes. Mine had a banjo bolt for the brake line and I had to get gsx brakes with the same fitting. I got mine from Conicelli Mitsubishi (they will also give you $20 a piece for your old calipers). Other than that it was a pretty straight forward swap.

i still have the stock rear vented rotors off my 95 gsx. ofcourse you will need the 95 (earily 94 production) gsx calipers too. they are in westminster md if anyone is interested. i also have the stock sways.

Hey Patrick well i am getting the Bear Brakes for my car..so mine are for sale now...I do recommend to get new rotors but i called 4 places autozone, checkers etc..and the prices were only 21-28 bucks a rotor so thats not bad..also I have a stainless steel lines for the fron to..brand new never installed..also have the axxis pads..brand new never used to...so let me know..i have put it in the classifeids but if you want them i will sell them to you first just because I offered them to you first let me know...
