i bought a 95 eclipse gst from someone who mis-shifted and threw a rod. i ve been looking at the evo 8 engine its basicly the same as the eclipse engine except its turned around 180. is there a way to transplant an evo 8 engine into my 95 eclipse?

thanks steve

:) great idea but it wont work if you really want to try an evo swap , do it with the evo 3 engine , which by the way also comes with an evo 3 big 16g , so you save some money right their.

If you want some serious power go with a 2.1l (destrocted magnus engine) or a full seven bolt with the 2.3 l stroker kit. Again check out magnus.

good luck:thumb:

If you want an Evo8 motor in an Eclipse - buy yourself a beater '00 Eclipse GS 5speed and just drop it in. Instant GS-T.

Whoops, wrong forum.
