2g Eclipse gsx ecu question

I have a v2 ecmlink chip that I'm using and the adapter that I need to tune the car stop working and turns out that ecmlink dosent make that specific adapter anymore because people made counterfeit ones. so my question is can I start my car if I remove the ecmlink chip and reset my ecu after removing the chip?

If you have the original chip and have the stock injectors then yes you can start it.
