I say $40,000 flat takes it home.

I thought it would be best to chime in since I saw the claim on the drivers fender. It is factory from the following evidence. Here is a picture of the factory sticker on it that show the matching VIN. I also provided paint depth readings in the auction that are within factory paint specs on the fender. I am unsure where you see the alignment off, but perhaps it is the angle of the picture you are looking at. I am pretty picky on panel gap myself. :)

It will be interesting what the market determines in this car in less than a couple hours.

I think it’s the camera angle of the thumbnail pic. Can’t really see it in other angles.

Yeah definitely just an angle from the picture. This car is local to me and have seen it in person, there are no gap issues at all.

The fireworks start in the last 5 minutes typically.

Wow, sold at $25,027. A bit anticlimactic..

Gotta say I am pretty shocked. but the new owner is a lucky guy to scoop a car like this for that price.

👍

My apologies if I caused you extra stress, those nuts are suppose to be painted on the hood and on the hinge though. (Maybe had a carbon fiber hood at some point?) Also car appears to be missing the drivers side splash guard in the wheel well to prevent water and debris going into the harmonic balancer area. Again I apologize for any last minute scampering I caused you.

I still strongly believe the 6 bolt motor with unknown mileage murkies the water for the non enthusiasts, that a stock 7 bolt would have made more people itchy for an original example. Like selling an original 69 camaro z28 with a non original big block, it just narrows the target audience to an enthusiasts and not an average collector
