The round fog lights are good, but i decided to make something else.
I like it .
How did i get there? Maybe someone has the same idea or is interested how i made it..
First i started with the oem part , tried to make it fit.
I was not very happy with that , plan was to carbon overlay arond the lights ..
So i went another route. I have a friend in italy he makes beautiful 2G carbon parts.
Simone Trippini
Feelfree to contact him for any part , he also makes custom solutions. I ordered 2 carbon cover.
I also found the cover for my lights, i use wheelen 500 series.
(who knows wheelen, knows what comes in the end but you will see later)
I cut it and insert the light cover.
Test fit. Not bad but the problem was the lights pointed to the side.
I knew i had to make it straight..
I found a good piece of plastic, cut it to the right shape.
With hot air i fold the edges. Warm up and hold it on the part.
Turned out perfect
It had to be black, painted it Also painted the carbon plate with clearcoat.
Now it was time to glue it together, took a good body sealant.
Thats it
You could use any light with the right dimension. I took the wheelen for fun reason , they are blue and red .
