Hopefully some one will pick up the torch and continue making some aluminum handles if b00st3d is in fact finished with them. I'd definately like to have a set as well, unfortunately I have quite a bit of other things, including maintenance, that needs done and have been putting off buying a set.
he not going to make them anymore? I thought final group meant final group for the year?Hopefully some one will pick up the torch and continue making some aluminum handles if b00st3d is in fact finished with them. Right on. It would be great if someone is able to take them over and maybe able to keep them available for the long term. I should have listened to my dad when I was younger and went to school for precision machining instead of Automotive Maintenance. Then maybe i could've learned to make them and other parts.. but too late now! LolThis group filled pretty quickly. Are this point I do not intend to keep doing these. I have talked with a couple people about taking them over so we’ll see what happens.
I’m not a machinist. Just another enthusiast who was willing to put in the time and leg work. My youngest kids are teenagers and having time for car related stuff is much more limited now. Some times it takes a lot of pushing to get this to happen. They way too expensive to produce one set at a time.Right on. The problem is the quantity that has to be produced to keep the cost down. I’m an enthusiast, no chance I’m going to sink $15k into billet handles and wait for other dsmers to buy then one set at a time to recoup the money.Have you thought about finding somewhere cheaper to produce them? Like in China?
Wait till you get them installed, that's when the magic happens!Really impressed by the set. Haven't gotten to installation but great craftsmanship. Thank you for your work!
They're so nice I was hoping they could be put to great use sitting on the shelfWait till you get them installed, that's when the magic happens!
