*** I DO NOT MAKE THESE ANY LONGER***
Please see the Billet Aluminum Handles post if you want aluminum handles.
Here's one of those things that everyone needs! 2G Aluminum Door Handles. I am making them.
You will receive raw if not specified.

Shipping will be done by USPS priority. And I will only ship to the address in PayPal.

As of 2/1/19 I will only sell them in cups. It helps keep the fit and finish in check.

I don't plan to make any singles at this time, only pairs. These are built after they are paid for, so expect a 2-3 week lead time currently. These are made from 6061 aluminum that is water jet cut and then each handle is shaped by hand and then tig welded. They are post weld heat treated/aged, to restore the strength of the aluminum. There are slight variations in these handles as they are hand made.

All sets come with stainless hardware(4 bolts, 4 nuts and 8 washers) to install them into your cups.

If you're ready to order now without waiting for a group order. Every order will be shipped in a medium flat rate box, which is $13.65 in the U.S. Make sure to pay for goods and that your address is correct. I will only ship to the confirmed address in PayPal.

Not sure if it's just me but fitment doesn't look all that great and would annoy the hell out of me with all those uneven gaps. I know that they are hand made but at least tighten up the tolerences some.

If you know a way to make them perfect when doing it by hand please share. I'll be happy to change my methods to put out a better product.

You'd have to get the blanks cut spot on with the water jet first so the gaps are perfect. Then, since it's aluminum, you can use something like a round over bit on a router. That would give you a clean round edge. Might be a bit precarious with something that small though. Also, make a jig if you haven't already.

The aluminum handle is thicker than the original plastic. Already Using a jig. Buying a router and related equipment would increase the cost of the handles more to offset the cost of the new tools. I'm not a professional at this and don't claim to be. But it does solve a problem. Once installed people won't have to deal with broken handles ever again.

This is the refined profile, the fit is much tighter on this revision.

Fit looks perfect on the new design! More pics of unpainted, painted, etc and you might remove the old pics so there's no confusion. I'd like to polish and clearcoat mine. I think shiny aluminum on a black car will look great. We only have 4 in for the group but?

If you 6 really want a set, now is the time. I have enough people lined up to get the cost to $135 shipped, PM or just go ahead and send payment. Make sure the PayPal address is correct! I will only ship to that address. I will be taking payments thru Friday then I will be taking a break from making these for a while.
