2 ? in 1 (oil filter and NOPI)

Ok, i have two questions here that i hope i can get some help with.

1. I have a '91 Eclipse and i went to change the oil filter and i bought the one that the book at the store said to get and when i got home i saw that it was to big and would not clear the alternator. Has anyone else ever had this problem or have any ideas of what it could be?

2. Does anyone have any opinions of the site www.nopi.com? I went there and they had several things i want to get including an O2 sensor for i belive it was $25. I was just curious to if anyone else has ever dealt with them and what there experince was like. Thanks

i usually get things from nopi. real good place to go. i ordered the euro dash and got it like in 3-4 days. real reliable and cheaper than a lot of places. cant go wrong w/ them.
