battery relocation kit
oil cooler kit
PTE 6262
DSMlink v3
3" turbo back exhaust

Ok. I was just asking because alot of people take a g4cs shortblock throw on a 4g63 head and think it is a stroker when it isn't.

boring the block
decking the block
milling the head
cleaning and deburing the block and head
balance rotating assembly
valve job
port and polish head Dont port too much but make it very polished
forged rotating assembly(including bearings and main studs)
quartermaster 6bolt twin disc clutch
stainless steel clutch line They say it is better to get an accumulator instead of going full stainless.. It helps with the twin disc...
extended slave cylinder rod No need there....
under hood shifter bearings
OEM throwout bearing
clutch fork
OEM h balancer
L19 headstuds
engine gasket set
hks headgasket I prefer a Mitsu MLS and Im sure others agree
oil pump
water pump
OEM tensioner kit
revised lifters
TRE transmission :hellyeah:
slowboy race core intercooler
fuel system(including 950cc injectors and clips) Make sure to get an AFPR
alu radiator
fans
aem wide band gauge
boost gauge
oil pressure gauge
triple pillar pod
battery relocation kit If you plan on racing make sure you have a switch
oil cooler kit
PTE 6262
DSMlink v3
3" turbo back exhaust

I added bolds through out.. I would also not forget Nice springs.. I am building a motor now with eagle rods, wesico pistons, manley titanium valve and ret, and a mitsu MLS.. great combo

Which cams?
Flywheel and new bolts
clutch fork and new pivot ball
I would also suggest some ACG's, to get the cams degreed in correctly.

And if money is not an issue, might as well grab a fluidampr instead of the OEM balancer... just to be safe. (I went back and forth on this, but enough knowledgable people convinced me it had advantages, so I bolted one up to my stroker a couple months ago).

Oil squirters or block off
Balance shaft removal kit (if you want)
Flywheel
Cams
Bigger throttle body
springs/retainers
guides
misc head and block bolts
freeze plugs
Hone cylinders
alternator, power steering and AC belts
Clearance the block and main caps for the stroker
EGT gauge is nice to have
oil feed and drain for turbo
water feed and drain for turbo (If water cooled)
Sheet Metal intake manifold (If you want)
1mm over valves
valve seals
maybe valve seats and valve locks if yours are in bad shape
maybe aline honing or boring of the main or cam journals if yours are out of spec
repalcement bolts and misc crap that you lose or break
motor mounts if you want
I'm assuming you are including fuel pump, line, rail, afpr, injectors, and filter in the fuel set up
EEPROM ECU if you dont already have it and it needs to be socketed
Timing belt
front case if yours is in bad shape
cam gears if you want
New intake pipe
BOV
Wastegate
Boost controller
spark plugs
spark plug wires
Tubular exhaust manifold if you want
I'm assuming the intercooler comes with all the piping, clamps, and couplers
gaskets that aren't included in the engine gasket kit (Turbo gaskets, etc)
fuel pump rewire kit
Vaccum hose kit
new fluids (These can get expensive)

If you're doing a 6 bolt in a 2G You'll need a few more things

And I'm proably missing some things. If you need some port work, block work, or any advice, just let me know.

lookin at bc 280's

Clutch GSX didn’t leave much room for more comment but here goes anyway.

If you don’t remove the balance shafts then new bearings for the old shafts are strongly recommended.

If you do keep the balance shafts then the Eagle rods and Wiseco pistons will reduce the reciprocating inertia to about the same as the OE parts leaving the balance shafts about as effective as for the OE parts on the stock stroke.

ARP head and main studs for your HP goals.

A complete engine overhaul gasket kit in addition to your selected head gasket.

Last and important to a successful build is a stash of contingency cash for the unexpected but certainty of things that go wrong. In my case it was the worn output shaft on the transmission.

If you are short on cash to upgrade the drive train then tape a raw egg to the gas pedal to avoid the beastly shock loads on a drive train designed for a max of just over 200 pound feet.

Good luck.

yea i got a couple extra dollars for bullshit to go wrong but im tryin to over do it so i dont come up short. like build for 700 and only push 500. i appreciate all the advice though, if you guys have any more suggestions keep em coming. tryin to get a build entry started.

280 should be good. Just make sure your springs can handle that lift and your head and pistons have clearance for them. I have 272's on my 2.3L stroker.

Cam gears arent necessary but I figure if you're going all out then you should get them. They allow you to make small adjustments to your cam specs to better suit your goals.

Tial wastegates are good. At least 38mm.
