which one is the best to get,I've heard that turbo's give alot of trouble and always need worked on, I don't want that, but still I want power, can everyone one tell me what they think, and if they have problems with their turbo's.thanks

they both really have their problems.just with a turbo, theres more stuff to go wrong(bad bearings in the turbo, oil cooks in the turbo, stuff like that).it really just depends on how well u take care of it.the people that say turbos r junk is b/c they dont have a turbo car and /or are just jealous.i have an n/t eclipse and i want turbo.with a turbo also,u have more heat to deal with.just gotta pay closer attention to ur oil, water, and so on.and u gotta let the car run 4 a few minutes after driving 2 let the turbo cool down so the oil in it dusnt cook.

heh i have a turbo..... and 2.0s are the turbocharged engines also FYI..
(if you didnt know that but im sure you do)

i dont know.. but i love the turbo... after driving my moms car which is close the same engine but a ford... the 99 escort ZX2(2.0L DOHC 140hp).. i get on the gas on that and i feel like im not even moving LOL. (i just drove her car outa town today felt kinda weird after driving mine now)

but yes if you can find a turbo or even a turbo AWD id go for it... some people dont do alot of maintence on them some do.. but it all depends how you drive it and that type of stuff.

the turbo is not any more problematic to maintain than a regualr NA one assuming you use good oil and proper maintence.. dont put in some cheap garbage oil and run it for 6000 miles between changes.. if you do, you get what you deserve.

I had a 91 GS.. it was okay. Bought a GST.. best thing i ever did. Can't beat the feeling of a turbo kicking in, or the look on a neon drivers face when they hear your BOV as you fly by them.

Dude, ima explain this just like everyone else. Not from a assholes point of view (which i do so well i may add).

I bought a 1998 Red Gs (N/T) and loved the car. Hell, i still love the car and i still own that sob! Its one of the most dependable cars ive ever owned in my life and i wouldnt give it up for the world.

Then i seen that it would cost me mad cash to get the performance of a turbo'd car and still only be Front Wheel Drive and spin like a mofo. So i bought a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. When that car is being driven by me im as happy as can be, when that turbo spools even after owning it for about 6 months now i still get a smile on my face and when the bov releases i just get "happy". I love that car, even tho its been in the shop for the past 9 days gettin an oil leak fixed i still wouldnt give that car up for the world.

Trust me and everyone else when they say.
BOOST IS NIIIIIIICE

i hate neon drivers,LOL.i beat 1 that had a body kit, rims, and an exhaust system.the only time it really kept up is when i hadta stop at a light.
