Ok I dunno if this is right place to post but it said intermidiate parts and I hope this falls under it...if not.please move to proper section.

Well its like this..I have ben offered a 1G engine that is supposed to "vanish"..(yeah i know..but either I take it or it ends up in a lake somewhere). Its a turbo 1G and I have no idea today what it has run and so on but as far as I know its a little tuned up and so on.Now my Q is what kinda parts can I use from that engine to my 2G ? I know some partss are better on the 1G and is an upgrade to a 2G but I am not sure wich parts?
And if this is a 6bolt...will it be better to do a total swap and just repalce the whole engine? If not..I am thinking of having this engine laying around and maybe put it in a Galant or something..could be fun*hehehe*

So what ya say...is it worth it to have it taken here and have it around for spare parts and or tunr it up to its full potential?

The throttle body and intake manifold are better from the stock 1g. If the motor is in good shape and it's a 6-bolt. Pull the thing and use it right away or tear it apart and really beef it up. Just make sure you have a place to hide everything incase the local law decides to look around.

Oh yeah, the fuel rail on the 1g is a little better too, but you might want to get a FPR if you're going to use it.

the fuel rail isn't really better it's shorter so that putting on a FPR isn't as hard. and as far as what parts you can use look at my mod list the only thing else is a 6 bolt bottom end.

Ok....I will look into that and see what I can use or maybe even change te engines completely then. Its from a neighbour country so I doubt the local law will find anything..*LOL* I know its a bad thing but...might s well use the shit rather then throw it in the lake or something*LOL*

Na seriously..I wll take this udner real consideration though....dont wanna be a bda guy but..at the same time its a good ofeer and hard to turn down since I get an extra engine for free......Tough decision!!

damn..now I got a 4G63T engine that is legal too..*LOL*Well I just need to know where it comes from..I think its a Galant VR4 engine really...from 90-91..so it could be a 6-bolt too right? If I get those two..I can make one hell of a spare parts park for myself*LOL*
I need to get into what I can use from the 1G engine more so that I can pick the best from these two engines...and make one spare one in case I brake my own....

So c'mn now.-.list the parts that are better from the 1G engine that I should pick off these two...
Unles one is 6bolt and I just swap right off..or keep til I break mine*LOL*
