I was wanting to know how important it is to have the O2 Sensor? and with removing it would that cause my car to idle at a higher RMP say around 1500 to 2000. I was told that its not that important and would not hurt the car.

You need a front O2 sensor. It monitors your fuel trim and the ecu will adjust accordingly. The two options are keep it stock or you can replace it with a wideband sensor and simulate the o2 function (narrowband) as long as you have a tuning software, stand a lone or link. Ecmlink/Dsmlink are the same. http://www.ecmtuning.com/
