I don't think people are realizing how small a role those ugly rice stripes play in the scope of the whole car itself. They'll cost you all of what, $200 bux to get taken off professionally? Or FREE if you do it yourself? But look past those two ugly lines and you have yourself a bone stock TT Supra, white/black leater, a 97 (late model) with fairly low miles. How come all everyone sees are the stupid stripes....?

All we see are the stripes becuz the car is white and the stripes are black. It sure shows up pretty good. Nice website btw Tantrumskid..

I dont like them strips either, they should have left the strips to the old GM muscle cars, they looked good on those cars, all he needs to do is paint it and change them ugly stock rims and the outside is finish. Smart move getting an auto supra, since a manual supra wont grip the street for nothing when it starts making mad hp.

Its a damn 97 TT Supra.. For the love of GAWD.. Who gives a crap about some stripes you can have taken off.. Even an A/T supra is better than what we got so who cares.. I'd take it.. And that was a kickass price! 22k for a supra!!! Thats unheard of.. Somebody got a good deal!!!

strange...a 1996 supra TT thats a manual. According to my information those dont exist...the 88 TT supras that were sold in 1996 were all autos, toyota didnt manufacture any US spec manual twin turboes in 96. and yeah there have ceen bone stock supras down to the tires that have ran high 12s, most of em autos. all supras are amazing, toyota completely overbuilt those motors...2JZGTE can handle up to 700 whp on the stock bottom end/tranny.

I dunno.... reading the ad, I kept seeing flashing yellow warning lights. DVD player to be installed after you buy? Little old lady? Free paint, if you pay for it? I dunno....

As for the stripes, I don't think they'd show from behind the steering wheel.

That is a rip off. There are some on autotrader for much less. Plus that is an automatic, but you can still shift up and down. It has like a sporttronic tranny. When i lived in utah some guy was selling a white supra with exhaust, tt, rims. It was auto, and had like 53,000 miles on it for like 19 grand.

If it's true then that WAS a sick deal, other supras sell for 34k if you even bid 24k you get a free paintjob.... but they also threw in 3 DVD's, an installation of a DVD player and the 7"LCD screen.

I'd buy it, then repaint it, then roll in it

that looks manual too me.. maybe it's not us spec or whatever ur talkin about but that's a 96 supra tt MANUAL and it's in long island new york.. so they are available

Oh here's the funny thing, AUTO is FASTER then M6, just is with the supras especially in the 1/4 mile. The are very good autos, far better then the averae slush box. Plust you never lift to shift, the turbo is in constant spool, somthing about longer gears and hooking up too.


Auto owns, some people ACTUALLY swap out their Manuals to an auto, lose over 100WHP on the Dyno, and run faster times, go figure.

I'd take it either or, but I would get rid of those stripes.
