I am putting my 97 GSX up for sale/ trade, my daily driver needs a cylinder rebuild but i don't have time for that so im selling both my cars to buy a new car i can drive in the winter. My number is 319-470-7229 feel free to message me with any questions!
I have taken care of this care since ive owned it, oil change every 3000 miles, letting the car idle for at least 1-2 minutes before driving, if its below 40 i start it about 10-15 minutes early and drive it slow till its up to temp, ive never hit redline while driving the car.
Car has always been stored for winter, has all power accessories, moon roof, tinted windows, a/c, carbon fiber hood, 7" touch screen stereo with 2 subs and an amp. Car makes 420 Hp or 353hp/325 ft lbs of torque on the dyno.. Body has 154k on it but still in great condition, motor has less than 20k miles on it, it was built by http://strictlyperformance.parts/ , they specialize in high performance cars such as GTRs, DSMs, and Evos. No joy rides and serious request only please. Engine and transmission have over 15k in it not even including all the other parts. When the new clutch was put in all couplings had dry spray put on them and bolts got thread locker also, turbo downpipe has all new clamps. Also the transmission/ transfer case was flushed. it also has a new master & slave cylinder. also recent oil change. Car includes DSM link which is roughly $500 itself. I just put in LED low beams on 3/13, they work amazing. I just installed a new passenger side door handle and i have a spare driver side door handle and a few other lights such as tail light housing.
K&N air filter, FP intake, SIM T3 Custom manifold, Trial MV-S 38mm wastegate, FMIC, Greddy BOV, UPIC piping, Aeromotive FPR, Hallman pro MBC, Holset HX35 turbo, BEP T3 .70 ar turbine housing, 1000cc injectors, Walboro 450 pump, pump rewire, full 3" exhaust, evo oil filter housing, mishimoto radiator/ fans, Thermal Zero turbo blanket, dual oil catch can setup, exterior oil cooler with thermostat and fan. Also the car has 2 step launch control and runs on 93 octane, also you can get a retune for it to run on E85.

Mods-Engine
SIM stage 2 short block. Delta 272 cams, Manley springs, mild port job, 3G lifters, Manley forged pistons and rods, balance shaft delete, external oil cooler and thermostat.
Mods- Drivetrain
TRE stage 3 rebuild with 4/spider gear setup, act 2600 installed 7/12/17 . Prothane motor mounts, Exedy clutch master and slave cylinder, STM stainless clutch line w proportioning valve removed.
Mod- Handling
eiback pro springs, Kyb struts, EVO brakes front and back, slotted and dimpled rotors, 15mm wheel spacers to clear the brembos.
Cons. The car is 21 years old so there is a few chips here and there in the paint, also the hood paint is peeling near the hood scoop, theres a buzzing coming from the rear speakers i havent figured out why yet, gas gauge only goes up to halfway so i reset the trip mile counter when i fill it up. Also there is a boost leak in higher gears i believe because it needs a turbo rebuild which i plan on doing soon.
