Got it home today. In the rain. Didn’t do much other than first mod.
New rear hatch struts to hold it up.

Shouldn’t the fuel pressure regulator be mounted on the other side of rail. Where it comes up from fuel line.
It needs new lines from regulator they leak bad.
I got order new fuel lines.
Get new master cylinder and do brake work to it. So it actually has brakes to move it.
Drain fuel tank.
I want to get JNZ tuning abs delete they make for it.
That’s it for now

Great move on getting those hatch struts in, save yiou from a thousand *bonks*.

Question for you on the door protection moldings, or the absence thereof. Do you have any leads on replacements? @ArthurCharland is looking to replace the ones on his '91 Talon, as his are starting to crack. Looks like the same profile, or very close. I've been kicking around the possibility of casting some replacement parts, as these seem to be a commonly deteriorated part.

Got little bit of work done. The past 2 nights. Started to remove the abs unit to do abs delete and and 3g master cylinder to car.
Also had to beat the driver seat rails forward to get free never seen ones so rusty they wouldn’t budge at all. I soaked them for 2 weeks
Trying to figure out who to get my abs delete from. I could reuse the lines on vehicle still. I could Just cut them down and reflare them at néw proportion valve. And get some 10x1.0 bubble flares for 3g master.
I know rtm has the sale coming up in couple days Mabe I’ll order from them.
Also got get big brake upgrade for front.

Well I got my non abs proportion valve today from over @JNZTuning.
And started to install it tonight on the gsx.
Also installed new master cylinder also on car. Made 2 new lines from master cylinder to no abs proportion valve. I was able to save couple of the oem abs lines and all abs components so far. So if anyone is looking for some I’ll make good deal versus send them to scrape bin.

Went outside this afternoon to check something when raining. Out found it leaking down this weather strip. Anyone ever deal with something like this before here’s video.

I’m curious as well because mine is leaking at the sunvisor on the drivers side where it bolts onto the roof.

I enjoy reading your thread. It’s funny, and we can all relate, how you want to focus on performance items, like better brakes and fuel delivery, but all old cars need weatherstripping and hatch struts, and that list never stops.
You asked about fuel pressure regulator: it maintains a set pressure in the fuel rail so all the injectors flow the same, and see the same pressure regardless or injection rate. Fuel comes in from the rail, and goes out to the tank return.

Hmmm. From what I have torn apart on inside. Only thing I can think off. Be either windshield is leaking. Or that drip rail piece on driver side has issue.

Hope it’s not the windshield. I’m gonna have to pull the headliner and have someone spray the car while I sit inside. Which is gonna be hard since for whatever reason someone stole the PVC piping to my external faucet for the hose. :ohdamn:

But yeah. Gotta get the car back first though.

I know my First mod was new hatch struts.
I want the car to stop and handle
Properly and all. Before I get performance stuff going more. I wanna be able to drive car not worry as much LOL

I got place coming next week to put new windshield in at home. 250 cash for it installed can’t beat that. Be nice to have nice clean crisp glass.
I got pull my headliner anyway and redo it my self. Be first time for fixing headliner up.

Went on little drive today to pick up some mint oem gsx wheels with center caps.
And had some more stuff thrown in with deal the guy gave me.
I haven’t done much to car in couple months just been sitting in garage
