Took the bumper off today. So I could
Remove some broken bolts from
Over the years. And to see what I need to source for car also. Suprised all the bolts came out with minimal heat and only
Need couple bolts I got source from some Dsm places.
I got new front mount coming for Dsm.
Looks like I need to find bumper for it since it been repaired once before.

Also removed headliner and got it prepped to do recover for it in the next week once I get fabric.

Nice wheels. These are some of my favorite on any car, dsm or otherwise. Mine had lost some finish, so I had to refinish them. Seeing the clean factory finish on yours is inspiring.
I got lucky finding this set. I been looking for year now for them. By luck buddy sent me add for guy on Facebook. Which I don’t have and account for. So he got in touch with guy for me. Played some phone tag for little bit but scored a good deal on them final.

would love to hear thoughts and tips on actual headliner fabric installation. So many curved surfaces, i want to avoid wrinkles. would be very grateful for pointers or an over-the shoulder video.
I’ll see what I can do. Fabric should be here this week I ordered not same color as rest of it but will work for me. Won’t be sagging or crap Falling from old foam on it hole time. I got prep it some more before I do anything get off everything I can.
Most came off with just
My blow gun from air compressor doing it outside.

Got this in the mail today from paul@rtmracing. Original design fuel pump hanger. Couldn’t pass up the price. Don’t need it yet but I got it for when I do.

Well I got my non abs proportion valve today from over @JNZTuning.
And started to install it tonight on the gsx.
Also installed new master cylinder also on car. Made 2 new lines from master cylinder to no abs proportion valve. I was able to save couple of the oem abs lines and all abs components so far. So if anyone is looking for some I’ll make good deal versus send them to scrape bin.

Congrats on obtaining one of the last new ones in existence!

Got headliner removed tonight and got it all cleaned off then.
Blew most of the old foam off. Got brush couple spots.
Still waiting on gray headliner fabric to come in.

Also got this in mail. Just waiting on piping. Now for it.

Ha! I was just coming down to the office to email you, Chad!

Don't forget the second to last GVR-4 upper thermostat housing! ;-)

It was nice putting a face to a name, I wish it wasn't raining and we were able to shoot the breeze more.

Thanks again!

Haha. I totally forgot about that galant thermostat housing.

Yes it was nice for sure. Hopefully next time it’s nice out and I am actually driving one of my Dsm then. Lol

Thank you for having the parts and getting these one of one parts anymore.
Keeping the platform alive!!!

Had some time this morning at work. To mount up my mint wheels I found.
I bought some cheap tires from local tire dealer. Not the greatest but for 165 bucks for 4 new tires they will work for now.
And at least I can get them on car.

That’s a crazy low price for 4 tires! Nice.
Yea they are cheap tires. Not tire I would buy if it was my daily driver. I don’t think they would last long. Just because they feel like soft compound. Problay be good for like 20,000 miles I would guess.

Got the suspension finished on Sunday.
Installed new kyb agx shocks on car. Got find some new lower springs. Anyone have any good recommendations for lowering springs.
Installed the oem wheels. I love the look.

Got package from @DSSA yesterday
Got some bolts and nuts I needed
And also got some throttle body rebuild kit for car.

Decide to on Sunday. Tackle the wiring with removing the abs from
System. Had to d-pin the one connector up front to keep
The right rear speaker working. And the automatic seatbelts to work. And the door ajar switch working.
I have good abs complete harness if anyone needs one for car.
Decided to pull the ecm to fix some wiring up and check to see how outdated my ecm link is. From 2006
Might be time to update to v3 then. Or possibly Haltech
