I purchased the Talon in 2009 from a guy in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. It was actually pretty decent then, and had some upgrades already done to the engine, suspension, and exhaust system. Naturally, there should always be more go-fast parts added!

For the bad part with this vehicle, the body is junk. Completely terrible. Rust everywhere, Bondo falling off, paint is awful, clear coat's coming off, front bumper cover is banged up, good sized dent at the driver's rear wheel well, rear wheel wells are rusted out (imagine that in a 1G!), windshield's cracked and pitted, fitment is bad for the front lights, pop-ups don't work, and on and on.

Talon TSi AWD

The 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST though, has a wonderful body. Couple spots of rust, but nothing terrible. Honestly, it's in great shape body wise.
However, the timing belt lost teeth because of the balance shaft belt breaking. Instant valve to head. Awesome.
So, the build on the Eclipse will have to wait. Parts from the Talon will be swapped over to the Eclipse once the engine is rebuilt to factory specs, maybe with a few minor changes in internals and machine work.
For now she sits, in all her almost-factory glory. She started out with a bad interior, no driver's seat belt door runner, no working radio, three blow speakers and one missing speaker, some bad wiring issues, a gauge cluster from a 1GB (unknown miles! woo!).
But two new axles, 2.5" turbo back exhaust into some unknown muffler, a decently clean shell for a '90, and pop-ups that actually work!

Its always nice to have an extra car to swap parts over to :). Do you plan on keeping all the mods pretty mild or are you going to build it? Whats your final goal with the GS-T?
