today i checked my turbo inlet wheel, and when i try ed to move it side to side, its moving a littlebit my question is:
is that supposed to be like that or not?
if its not what is my turbo problem then?
Thanks alot

pretty much all 16g's have some shaftplay -
some in+out = normal
side/side = bad
but even with that said.. it may still go for miles before it REALLY needs a rebuild.
U will prob just consoume a little more oil.

so do i loose any power with that or no?
Actually my shaft moves up and down not side to side

up and down and side to side......... ah, same thing? in and out= BAD (thrust bearing...) up, down, left, right, side, side.......... lil bit, normal........ burning oil? see smoke? if it is about to go and you plan on re-building it, instead of re-placing it, more $$$ involved the longer it goes.......... like replacing the compressor wheel if it is "rubbing" on the side of the housing. In my research from needing to re-build a couple times, mitsu compressor wheels aren't cheap, like garrett (price wise) ones are.

ohh so i'm ok ,i checked it again and my turbine shaft doesnt move in and out,it moves a littlebit side to side :)
Just make sure it's not making contact with the housing and it's not leaking oil under operation.
