Edmonton,
My 350 hp goals are going to be attained in the coming couple of months. And, Im looking at the big 16G, mainly because its cheap and can do what im looking for. However, I also want dual ball bearing. Is that an option that anyone offers for the big 16G? Or, is that only offered on the more expensive/bigger turbos?

What type of income are you looking to spend on a turbo? The DBB is an option on mostly the more expensive turbos. I can give you a link to a nice BB turbo that has the potential you are looking for. Granted it might be more than the B16g, but hey you get what you pay for.

This is the turbo I am looking at saving for. Very efficient and slowboy is VERY reputiable! Give them a call and see what they can do for you. Mike Huml is pretty cool and has no problem talking to you even if you aren't going to buy from him.

Good luck!

I would get a small 16G. More people have gotten better times..could be a coincidence..Theyre also cheaper. I really cant tell the diff between small and big (buttometer). But you prolly will reach that goal easier considering its got a bigger wheel. My two cents

count down = 10 days to go till I order my big16g. And, its looking more like ill be getting it from slowboy. So, im just wondering, sure, the turbo will bolt on, but what about the oil lines and water lines? Also, do I need to do anything to "prime" the turbo before installing it? ie. Squirt some oil in it before I crank it.
