14b making weird noise help!!!!!

hi you guys this week i noticed that my turbo was making a weird noise while in boost (from 1-15psi) but this just happens sometimes what do you guys think it would be.

Exactly what kind of noise is the turbo making?

Most likely either

1) boost leak

2)dieing turbo

Is it sort of a screeching noise that accompanies the usual spool up noise? Yea, mine USED to do that, never figured out what it was, just doesn't do it anymore. But I've also noticed since then that I can't get it to boost above 16psi anymore. :thumbdown

Remove the intake and check for freeplay, you should be able to tell if somethings wrong by rotating the compressor wheel with your fingers, well maybe not quite exactly, but if your turbo is going bad or leaking oil you should be able to notice it.

its liking oil from in between the exhaust housing and the compressor housing
