105+ mph on a 14b?

Yeah it shouldn't be too hard because I went 101.5 with a horrible 60 ft time. This was with no traction, no race gas, 18 psi, stock smic, and stock fuel system with no tuning capabilities, just basic boltons like exhaust and intake. The car feels much faster now with dsmlink, although I am still learning how to tune, and some retread tires. Hopefully I can make it back to the strip in a few weeks to see if how it runs with traction race gas and some more boost.
 
I ran the MPH in my sig with a completely stock car save for a ported turbo, head, and MAFT. Bad clutch also. I bet 3" exhaust with some kind of fuel control to lean it out would trap 105.
 
Bigger injectors, fuel control, fuel pump, race gas, 22psi.
Should be no problem if you are a decent driver since you are FWD.
I trapped 105.7 on your mods and the ones above, nothing ported.
 
I went 107 on a 14b with awd. Race gas, 19psi, intake, 3"turboback exhuast, underdrive pulley, TurboXS BOV (recuirculated), UICP, 190lph pump.
 
I went 12.84 @ 105.6 with a 1.711 60ftr in my 91 awd with the following mods:

- SAFC II
- STT ported 14b and 1st gen exhaust manifold
- 3" open downpipe w/ stock 1g o2 housing
- MBC set at 20 psi
- 94 + race gas
- AGX adjustables and Eibach springs

Stock everything else!!!
 
local guy with a 14b powered spyder ran 14-15sec and trapped 96-105mph (street tires) with just 3" turbo back (no cat), free mods, and boost controller set to 18-19psi
speed doesn't mean fast 1/4 times, because another guy in an awd ran 12.4@105
 
Could my 14b be busted?
The best i trapped was 98mph and i have intake pipe, filter, 3"turbo back, mbc set to 15psi, uicp with 1g bov.

Hey those with 14b's what shift points do you reccomend?

I usually shift in 1st gear at 6,500-6,800, second gear the same and 3rd at 7,000

possibly. I just put on 3"exhaust and was only trapping 97. My turbo was shot it had bad shaft play and the compressor wheel was torn up. Getting knock in 4th gear too.

Check that, also, too rich or timing pull from knock will slow you down a lot.

I was shifting into 4th early around 5500 RPM when I trapped 100 on stock exhaust.
 
Yeah You should run some more boost. I was running around 97mph when I ran 16psi. A logger would help too so you can look at your timing curve to look for knock. Shaft play definitely wouldn't help. Also my 14b is ported too.
