This is awesome!! I'm glad to see you got it back on the road and just immediately took it on a massive road trip. Looks like you both are having a blast and how could you not with some of those iconic stops and views.
I had gone back and forth between the NewAge and Husky for a bit. The NewAge Pro is a step above the Husky which is a step above the NewAge Bold. In the end, the NewAge won out because of the fact that it perfectly fit on that wall in the configuration (I bought all of that as a kit) and I...
Sorry for the long delay but here is my before/current shots and information. Also sorry for the long post/thread hijack!!I bought my house with a four-car garage (just shy of 900 sq. ft.) back in 2017. The garage was a big selling point. It's not nearly as big as I'd like (just parking a...
For what it's worth, vinyl floor tiles make minor scale adjustments easy. My garage floor is pretty darn level but I still need to shim some of the pads just a bit. I've just always been of the mindset that concrete will shift/settle/etc. to something out of level, so if you can get it as...
I just got done doing a garage renovation of my four-car garage. I'll do a write-up in the next couple of days as I need some time to sit down and remember everything that I did as well as get pictures organized. As for the flooring options, I have considered polyaspartic coating as it has...
I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a post by Samantha of @MorrisonFab that Curt Brown had passed away today from a hit and run while on his bicycle. I was not close with him and probably only spoke with him once or twice but he was a legend in the DSM community. It's always sad...
Oh Doug...I can't say I can think of someone with a bone stock 1g, let alone one that's really clean. I wonder if you might make out by sending out a mass e-mail to the forum and asking people with bone stock 1g's to post in here.
Yes, that'd be fine. We're just trying to eliminate the clown cars that have a blue bumper, red fender, white door, etc. or those that have primer/plastidip panels.
Do not post your entries here in this thread and please read the whole message before asking questions. Please make sure you read the following rules carefully before submitting your photos, as they have changed since last year:1. You can only submit photos of a DSM that you own, and you...
It has nothing to do with being a staff member vs. non-staff member. The rules have always been that we do not allow review threads to be posted. We have created specific sections under each user's profile to leave feedback and find that makes it easier for everyone to easily find all (logged)...
Honestly, I've just been too busy with other things outside this site and it slipped my mind (and it looks like everyone else's up until now). It's probably too late to have it happen for this year since in the past two years it's taken months just to gather up 12 photos that the staff would...
We don't allow this type of posting on the forum. I'm very sorry to hear what happened, but it is a fault of both parties. I'll be closing this thread and possibly cleansing it of some of the personal data you posted after I talk with @Ludachris
So it sounds like if you kept them both as is, you'd end up with two summer cars - race car and show car.If you swapped parts from old car to new car, you'd end up with one summer car (show/race car) and one all year car (DD/beater).To me, it seems like it'd be more fun to have two cars you...
No more entries will be accepted. We as a staff will work through all the submissions in the next couple weeks to get them narrowed down to the final choices and then send them to Chris for approval. Once he approves them, he'll work on getting the calendar created and available for purchase...
I'm pretty sure I have the same complaint every year in that people don't read anything in the first post. So, here's my short rant...READ EVERYTHING IN THE FIRST POST!!!There's rules you have to abide by when submitting photos - everything from photo size, editing restrictions, information...
Either Chris or I will post a link for the calendar once it is ready for purchase. If the car has carbon parts, it's fine. We just don't want someone who randomly pieced together a car with seven different colors and just took a picture to submit something.

If you need to have your ECU socketed, you will probably not get it there in time for them to get it done and ship it out. If you order just the package, you might get lucky and have them ship it out tomorrow. Just be patient for a reply from them - they get a lot of e-mails on a daily basis...
If you haven't poked around the Garage Journal, I'd suggest starting there. You'll probably find a ton of discussion and advice on flooring options. I'll guarantee you'll find a TON of other really neat stuff that you'll just have to glance over if you don't want the garage to cost more than...
FYI, this is only for people who already receive the paper copy.I'll have to see if I receive the paper copy or find an older one of mine and create an online account.
His isn't blue anymore - it's white now.I'll have to check my pictures. I'm not sure if I got a shot of it or not. Sounds very familiar, but I guess I didn't get up close enough to see the embossed effect.
I'd probably feel safer trying to take a picture of a black widow since (I would guess) they don't move nearly as fast as a scorpion. But I would also want to have a 150mm+ macro lens for those creatures.
But CBS hosts all their shows on their website and allows you to watch them for free. I've been using this for a while and it works great. I think they even have the shows up with 24 hours of them airing.I haven't had cable in over 2 years and don't really miss it. Granted, I'm hardly...
You do realize that video was just an animation and not real, right? They don't use an open diff, but instead an LSD-type diff. Just Google it and I'm sure you'll be able to find out some more about it.
I was down there with my brother and another DSMer and had a pretty good time. Sucks that the drag racing was cancelled because of rain and that I didn't get down there early enough to see the roll racing. Still a lot of nice cars to see and fun events to watch. The highlight of the weekend...
