go through it like any other car. -Compression test -turbo shaft play, -crank end play -DRIVE itIf you actually like it more than your spyder then go for it.But in my opinion no one slaps on a hx35 with dual waste gates to "baby it" and the 550's don't seem like they fit in the picture.

go buy a compression tester. Test the motor to see if you have a solid motor to work with. 178 is perfect I beleive.IF that works out, buy it and fix it up. by the time you have your licence, you can have a nice reliable car with some balls.Oh and before you start doing any work, jump...

check out the strut tower rust. if its bad don't bother.And if your only planning on trying to flip it, then don't.. you wont get your money back.Unless this thing is prestine I wouldn't go buying a dsm just to flip it.
