Awesome :thumb:I love how 99 cars are the only cars that came out with black interior :)<---got 99 AWD Spyder black on black on black :hellyeah::rocks::D
nope. That is the front. You can try this dismantler which is not too far from where I live. You will pay a little bit, but its worth a shot: Used Mitsubishi parts, Used Saturn parts, Daewoo used parts and Dodge Import used parts
I actually much prefer the colored wing on CF hatch. My other friend that I did a CF hatch glass install has a CF wing also and I prefer the colored wing. I the mouldings from the dealership, and that is pretty much the only place to get them. Many mobile glass guys have universal seals they can...
And why do you say that? Removing the glass is the harder part- once the glass is out reinstalling it is cake and anyone can do it.The hatch seals fine, and if you don't want to swap your glass over, a shop or mobile glass service should be able to do the swap for pretty cheap. Go look at...
Be nice...Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind that if you get a CF hatch and want to maintain your factory interior trim that you will have to carefully make about 30 slits on the inside for the trim to clip into. And if you see this thread Savo, I hope I have...
That is just not true. I have installed two VIS CF hatches while you were reading. The rear hatch glass is very easy to remove, especially with an air knife. If you don't have one (which most people don't) wire can be used as well but you will almost surely want to replace the rear glass rubber...
The Bugatti has AWD, so it comes as no surprise that its 0-60 is faster. In regards to the speed of the car posted, I am sure any differences in the numbers are a result of the different engines available in the car. The link below confirms what you said.Bugatti Veyron: weight - 4,160lbs...
How did this thread make it this far? I think most would enjoy and benefit a basic course in physics. There are also a lot of books available that introduce some of the most complex concepts in modern physics in a way that a casual reader can appreciate.
The only times that I have really had any issues from law enforcement concerning my modifications was when I was doing something else to warrant a traffic stop. The past two times I have been pulled over nothing came of it.
I think you did not read my post correctly. I will say it again, perhaps it will stick- especially if you have in fact travelled before. Forget about the exchange rate; fuel costs in Europe (for Europeans!) are, like I said before, relatively expensive when compared to other goods. This has...
Although you bring up a semi-valid point, you still show minimal understanding of the relative fuel price abroad, and come off very ignorant. Obviously the exchange rate affects the strength of various currencies worldwide- how much buying power each unit of currency has. I have been travelling...
Don't get upset, or jump to conclusions about what I said. I felt that I was being very vague when I mentioned other alternatives. I am not one of those 'look how good we have it people'. Just because we may have it good relative to the rest of the world, does not mean it could not be better. I...
...and most Americans never know how good they have it. Try going overseas, and then come back and continue to complain about gas prices. With the exchange rate it is about $9.00/gal right now in Germany. Good thing I don't have to rent a car!Although the reasons behind the increased prices...
That is funny as hell, but at the same time really depressing. It saddens me to live in a world where people buy into ideas like these. In addition to keeping your car in good working order, driving conservatively is very important as well. Thanks for sharing that! :)
Dude, what the hell. I have been clicking on that thing for about five minutes, and the video still won't play! This is such B.S., I tried three different browsers, and none of them work!!!:D Pretty good. Unfortunately that would confuse my parents...
Hello all, and an update of life halfway around the world. I am going to London tomorrow for a few days which should be awesome. Since I got back from Berlin a week ago, I have just been kickin' it at my grandparent's place. They live somewhat in the country, and we have been riding the bikes...
Thank you for making me smile. :-)Hello from another Vacaville resident who owns both a Civic (although a 2006) and an Eclipse (GST-AWD). I won't bother reading all the other responses because they are probably dumb. I have owned a number of turbo DSM's, AWD, FWD, 1g, 2g. Additionally, my...
Yea man, will do. I don't think I have your number anymore, so PM me with it.Sounds like a great trip. Unfortunately I had no time for Spain or the Czech Republic. A grand a week seems like a lot, does that include train fares or car rental, and did you stay in hotels? Although everything...
Oh, man, Berlin was rediculous. Epic. I'll talk to you about it on AIM. If you really want to go sometime, let me know. I could give you a lot of advice and such.No pictures of the shenanigans that went down in Amsterdam, although it was nuts.Yea, of all the places I went, I liked Rome...
Hey everyone, I do not post on 'tuners much anymore, and am not very interested in cars anymore. However, I have been a long-time member, have some friends on here, and like to check in every once in a while to see how things are going. Right now I am in Germany, with my Grandparents and...
Blair Spotweld CuttersYA879, Punch, Automatic Center, Heavy DutyThese will allow you to do the job in 15 minutes very easily, and will not require any welding or anything afterwards. Screw angle grinder, and whatever.
Yo Grant, looks good. I will have to catch up with you soon, as I just got back to the computer now.As far as removing that rear brace, an automatic centerpunch and spotweld cutter will allow one to remove it with little trouble in about 15 minutes. This way will also leave the sheet-metal...
I have never used an Iwata, the last painter I worked with only had SATAs. It was never an option for me to buy an Iwata, as I can get SATAs when I go to Germany for half what you would pay here. The gun I used in the picture cost me about $250, where as it would go for about $550 here, as you...
I would like to offer a few suggestions:I would ditch the JMF heat shield. Everyone seems to like them because they are shiny, but I think they have an awful shape, and look out of shape in nearly every engine compartment that I have seen. A factory heatshield can be had for about $50, and...
I will make this short as I just got done finishing painting a motorcycle for a 'tuner, and am tired. All of the parts previously had 4 paintjobs, many scratches, pinholes, cracks, etc. All of the parts were stripped down, repaired where applicable, and then primed. This took me forever, as I...
I think many people would be surprised how well 1/4" stainless would stop things. Given I have not seen what this happen, but tearing through aluminum, plastic, and a hood is nothing. Aluminum and plastic are soft as hell, and sheetmetal on cars is paper-thin.Scattershield FTW.Bet you...
It is mostly mechanical engineering stuff, with some aeronautical stuff as well. If I were you, I would look into mechanical engineering. All of the things that you will learn will be applicable in the automotive world. If you want a degree in automotive engineering, go to Michigan. It will...
