Ouch. Sorry to hear that Chris... I doubt you'll track them down unless you have some sort of logging. You could request from your provider some sort of logs then break down the IPs and start matching them up with users on the site, yourself, and people who have no business being in those...

I saw a story about some kid in an SRT-4 who did that a few months ago... his friend ratted him out when put under pressure and he got put in jail for street racing and a false police reports and all that stuff.:thumb:

Yeah I know. I've seen the police confiscate cameras and stuff when I was "into the scene". Now I'm a little older, a little wiser, and I've seen way too many people lose their cars over this sort of stuff. Guess it just wears on you over time.Sucks a DSM had to be taken in all of that...

Thanks! Yeah I hated it at first but with the chin spoiler it is "complete" I guess. The STi tranny is bullet proof though... it's those WRX 5 speeds that are made of glass.:thumb:

Yeah, I don't think I did too bad. I think in terms of market value, I did excellent, and in terms of what this kid was getting, he did very well to. It does have a brand new tranny, clutch, and flywheel among other things. Blue book was only like 4500 or something so I think I did alright.

SOLD! $7700, as is. I got quoted at $280-$300 to do the stuff they wanted fixed so it wasn't worth it to get it fixed and I really dont want to carry it on my insurance for another month. Everything goes with the car, I don't care, I want it gone, and I'm gonna get something new later on down...

I posted an article on how to make a new spring for your gas door in the tech articles. It was FREE and I didn't have to drive to the dealer to have them get me the part or anything. Took maybe 15 minutes to do. Worth checking out if you don't have the factory spring anymore.
